9th June 2012
Windsurfing: felixstowe fludyers

Wind Stength: F3-5
Surf / Sea State: flat to wavy
Air Temperature: 20 C
Sea Temperature: OK
Weather: good
Max Speed: 28.3 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 6nm (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

After call from Ian Xshore fludg 6M it was game on, along with DC, Alis'Paul Rog Andy x 2. The warm weather was great for a change, the wind was X off and iffy, blowing its 'rse off on the outside and little inside, so sail size was key. Rigged 7.2 / 120L JP pro ride
crawled out and got hammered in the wind zone, bloody typical..had a few more runs but hated every minute although did my best GPS time this year on the open sea 28.3kts Paul and the others (except DC hanging on 7.6M!) had a 5***** day. Rigged 6.2M and had 2 runs the wind dropped. Switched to 7.2M, and was blown away again, including a catapult waterstart, which nearly holed my board.
Switched, to 6.2M wind dropped and did the walk of shame 2 groins (100m's down)
Now well 'issed oft called it a day with the others. DC (now on 6M with no wind) had the same view offshore winds sucks. Still its always good to get on the water and 3*** cos I clocked the 28.3kts, so when I flog the board, I can stick that on EBay :)
